What ShareMySiteData does
ShareMySiteData is a site-intelligence and survey-discovery platform. It lets users search public information and the existence of indexed commercial survey records, and lets authorised suppliers list survey metadata. ShareMySiteData does not sell or license the underlying commercial survey report.
Information we process
Depending on how you use the service, we may process account information such as your name, work email, company and role; supplier organisation details; saved searches and alerts; search locations and areas; commercial-record views and unlocks; enquiry intent; subscription and payment references; and technical/audit information needed to operate and secure the service.
Payment-card details are handled by Stripe. ShareMySiteData stores payment identifiers and entitlement state rather than raw card details.
Commercial survey records
Public search results expose only permitted discovery metadata. For platform-indexed records, publisher/source details remain protected until the user has the relevant entitlement or completes a paid record unlock. Supplier-uploaded commercial records remain associated with the uploading or authorised supplier.
Supplier analytics and demand intelligence
Search and interaction activity may be used to produce supplier archive analytics and aggregated demand intelligence. Named organisation-level interaction information is shown to a supplier only where it relates to that supplier's own archive and the user has been informed of that use. General regional demand analytics are aggregated rather than presented as an open book of individual behaviour.
Public-source searches
Where a site search uses official public sources, the platform may send the relevant location, area or query to those source services to retrieve current results. Public-source searches are designed to refresh live rather than rely on cached search results.
Why we process information
We process information to provide accounts, searches, supplier uploads, record unlocks and subscriptions; operate saved searches and alerts; prevent abuse; maintain auditability; answer support requests; and understand genuine use of the platform. Processing may be necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, support legitimate operational interests or act on a user's consent, depending on the activity.
Sharing
We use service providers needed to run the platform, including Supabase for application data and authentication, Vercel for hosting/runtime services and Stripe for payments. We may also disclose information where legally required. We do not sell user account data to survey suppliers.
Retention and rights
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including account operation, security, auditability, contractual administration and legal obligations. Users may have rights including access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, subject to applicable law.
Security
The service uses server-side access controls, row-level security, protected commercial-source fields, payment verification and audit logging. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
