Public Beta · last updated 21 August 2026

Public Beta: the service is being tested and improved. Features, data sources and availability may change during the beta period. Paid Single Record, Professional and Professional Plus access is live during Public Beta.

1. The service

ShareMySiteData provides site-intelligence search and discovery of public information and indexed commercial survey metadata. A commercial record means an indication that a survey or related information source exists; it is not a guarantee that the underlying report is available, suitable, current, accurate or capable of being relied upon.

2. Discovery, not brokerage

ShareMySiteData does not broker, price, sell, license or grant reliance on the underlying commercial survey. Any request for the survey itself, reliance, copyright permission, licence, professional advice or new work is agreed directly between the searcher and the record holder or owner. ShareMySiteData takes no commission on that downstream agreement.

3. Paid access

Single Record unlocks are available for £2.99 per record. Professional is £14.99 per month and includes up to 10 commercial-record unlocks each month. Professional Plus is £29.99 per month and includes up to 30 commercial-record unlocks each month. Elite remains a contact-led package. Payments are processed by Stripe. A platform unlock reveals the permitted holder/source details for the indexed record; it does not purchase ownership, copyright, a licence to use the survey, or professional reliance on it.

4. Supplier listings

Users who upload or list commercial survey metadata must be the survey owner or be authorised to list the existence of those records. Required listing fields include Site Name, Survey Type, Survey Date, Company Name and Survey Extent. Suppliers remain responsible for the accuracy and authority of their submissions.

5. Platform-indexed records

ShareMySiteData may index evidence-backed records from published sources. Such records use a generic public-facing source label while supporting publisher/source information is retained privately for validation and permitted unlock. Inclusion in the index does not imply that the identified publisher is a partner or contributor.

6. Public data

Public-source information remains subject to the originating authority's terms, licences, availability and limitations. ShareMySiteData may display links, attribution and source status but does not become the owner of that public data.

7. Suitability and professional judgement

Historic information can be useful in deciding what further investigation is needed, but conditions, standards, ownership, scope and project requirements change. Users remain responsible for professional judgement and for deciding whether new surveys, verification, permissions or specialist advice are required.

8. Accounts and acceptable use

Users must keep account credentials secure and must not attempt to scrape protected holder/source details, bypass entitlements, interfere with the service, upload material they are not authorised to list, or use the platform unlawfully.

9. Availability and beta changes

External public sources can fail or change. ShareMySiteData may retry failed sources and update source status, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to third-party services. During Public Beta, features, limits and workflows may change as the service is tested and improved.

10. Liability

ShareMySiteData provides discovery and site-intelligence tools, not a substitute for professional advice, statutory searches, site investigation or direct verification. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Governing law

These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that applicable law gives a user to bring proceedings elsewhere.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the Public Beta develops. The latest version will be published on this page.
